EDM Machine

EDM Machine

Die-Sinking EDM reproduces, in a metallic work piece, the shape of a tool called the electrode. Injection molds for plastic parts are very frequently machined by die-sinking. Usually made of copper or graphite, the electrode is shaped like the object that is going to be molded. In the machining area, each discharge creates a crater in the work piece (material removal) and an impact on the tool (wear of the tool/electrode). There is never any mechanical contact between the electrode and work piece.

Key point

The compact, rigid and precise mechanical body.

Compacted machine occupies very small floor space.
The excellent rigidity thanks to the fixed worktable structure based on which the axe move independently on the support.
X/Y/Z axe adopt precise linear guide-ways, ball-screws and servo system which ensure smooth movement and high accuracy.
Z-axis platen has the interfaces for mounting multi-types of chucks (manual、3R、EROWA).
Reliable and precise optional C-axis makes index and helical machining very easy.
The simple linear changer enables erosion last a longer time automatically without operator’s interference.
Extended power generator module allows higher machining efficiency.
